We can’t sign every artist… Wish we
could… We do provide booking management
as often as we can. While we reserve our
marketing, equipment, and recording resources for signed artists. We do offer booking assistance to as many
artists as we can, signed or unsigned.
We’ve been booking in southeast Wisconsin since 2002 and have acquired
more than 500 bookings since then, 120 of them from last year alone.
Our lead managing agent is Matthew J. Koch. He
earned himself a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communication with a focus
on Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Organizational Communications from
UW-Oshkosh. While attending UWO he was
appointed as
Program Director for station 90.3FM WRST. He was also promotions director during the
stations 40th anniversary which included a meet and great with WPR
hosts. Not to mention, Koch also hosted
two radio shows of his own as DJ Koch in the Kitchen for 3 years (American
Roots & Soul Kitchen). During that time he also served
an internship for Beloit Riverfest Festivals Inc. and Stateline Festivals
Inc. There he performed as
administrative assistant during the 2006 Beloit International Film Festival,
the 2006 Beloit Fourth of July Festival, the first annual 2006 Beloit
International Film Festival, and returned as a productions assistant for the
2nd annual Beloit International Film Festival in 2007.
Koch’s true passion is for music, more
specifically live music, although he is experienced in booking a variety of
artists from musicians and comics to poets and painters. He also books for venues as well, currently
handling the booking for the Wednesday night variety shows at the Bad Genie in
downtown Milwaukee. He books about three acts a night on the average Wednesday,
including a weekly feature of his first signed artist Mathew Haeffel & the C-Note
Assembly.
